Who is: Active RX Physiotherapy

Active RX Physiotherapy owners Nick & Em both have a real passion for health, fitness and physiotherapy. Both have performed at an elite level in their prospective sports so they understand the physical demands that training and competing can have on the body. As a result they realise how important strength & mobility work can be when it comes to staying injury free.

NICK BATGER – OWNER & PHYSIOTHERAPISTnick

Nick believes that manual and hands on physiotherapy is the best approach. He is passionate about empowering patients and giving them the tools to manage their own condition.

Nick is not only a qualified physiotherapist but also a Personal Trainer ( Cert 3 and 4 qualified) and former First Grade Rugby Union player both in the Shute Shield competition and overseas. It is his unique background that has led to his philosophies and development of ActiveRX Physiotherapy with his wife Em.

Nick has completed extra study in Dry Needling / Western Acupuncture and combines these techniques with his Physiotherapy sessions when warranted. Nick also has a passion for designing rehabilitation programs that can be used separately or in conjunction with physiotherapy for long term self management.
